Allyse Leonard is the program director for the club. She is also a former assistant coach for the women. Allyse began her bowling career at Westerville South High School and continued competing at the collegiate level at The Ohio State University. As a freshman at Ohio State she was a member of the women’s bowling team that qualified for the Intercollegiate Team Championships in 2007. As a senior she was named first team All-Conference in the AHIBC. Allyse earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Finance from the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State in 2010.
Chris Weber is the head coach of men’s team. He was a 4-year member of the varsity team from 2010 to 2014. Upon graduating from Ohio State with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2014, he began coaching the varsity team in an assistant role. He took over the head coaching role in the start of 2016 and led the team to its first national qualification in 20 years. Chris works as a Design Engineer just outside the city of Columbus and enjoys spending time at his family lake place in the free time.
Quincy Walker is the women's head coach and a former assistant coach for the men. He is involved in the youth bowling program at The Columbus Square Bowling Palace and volunteers his time to the Central Ohio USBC to assist in running the Columbus City Bowling Tournament and Central Ohio Youth Week. Quincy started his bowling career in Cleveland, OH and, as a youth bowler, competed in JTBA events. During his eight years of military service, he served in the Gulf War in 1991 and Bosnia in 1993. Quincy earned his Associate’s Degree in Computer Networking from ITT Technical Institute. Quincy is also a silver certified coach.
A 2014 graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Material Science Engineering, Bryan bowled for four years with the club. He was the club president in the 2012-13 season, and an assistant coach since the 2014-2015 season. He grew up bowling in his family’s 18-lane center in Vermilion, Oh. He has competition experience in national events such as North Pointe Insurance Singles, Junior Gold Nationals, and Teen Masters. Bryan's father is an IBPSA certified pro shop operator, and both are close friends of Mo Pinel.
Jon Leonard is an asisstant coach for the women's team and former head coach of the women's team. He was previously one of the men's assistant coaches, helping lead them to the Boom Intercollegiate Club National Championship. Jon has been bowling since he was in 8th grade. During his career, he earned 3 state tournament titles in juniors. He also bowled for Ohio State for two years, placing on 2 all-tournament teams, while earning his bachelor's degree in Food Science in 2010.
Kyler McDonald is one of our women’s coaches. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 2016 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He bowled for Ohio State while he was pursuing his degree and was club president for three years. His hometown is Englewood, Ohio and bowled for Vandalia Butler High School.
