Frank Varney is in his second year as the men’s head coach. Frank has been around bowling since the age of 4. He started league bowling at the age of 8, and has been involved in the sport, in some aspect, since that time. He has spent time in various parts of the country and has studied Mathematics and Biology in Texas where he also was assistant coach of the baseball and bowling teams. Although he has not lived in the state of Ohio since the age of 7, he has remained a faithful Buckeye fan. Even through the accolades and awards through the years, his passion remains in helping others reach their fullest potential. He is a USBC Silver Certified Coach as well as being certified through Mo Pinel's Pro-Shop/Ball Drilling classes. Coming off his first year as head coach in which he led the team to two tournament wins, including the Boom Intercollegiate Club National Championship, he is excited to continue his success with The Ohio State Buckeyes.
